Food Pantry

St. Mark hosts an active food pantry for those who are in need. Food is distributed on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month between 9:30 am and 11:00 am. Each household must be registered with the Sheboygan County Food Bank. To register for this new system please call 920-453-0136. You will be provided an “Access Card”. This card must be shown every time the food pantry is visited. We are happy to help people who are in need, but people found to be abusing the pantry will be turned away.

The St. Mark Food Pantry is a ministry of the church accomplished through a unified effort of over 50 volunteers from St. Mark and the community. These volunteers gather, sort and distribute food to those in need who reside in Sheboygan, Kohler and Howards Grove. This ministry is supported with food and/or monetary donations from our congregation and 11 other Lutheran churches. We also receive donations from the Sheboygan County Food Bank, the Mail Carriers, the Boy Scouts, the Rotary Clubs (Making Spirits Bright), Watson Vending, Festival Foods, Pick ‘n’ Save, both Piggly Wiggly stores and individuals who purchase the “Stomp Out Hunger” bags in those stores. We are thankful to God and all of our community partners who help us carry out this important mission work.

The food pantry will be closed when the Sheboygan School District closes schools due to weather conditions.  Listen to WHBL or a weather channel for school closings.
