St. Mark Lutheran Church offers the following worship services: Sundays at 9:00am and Thursdays at 6:30pm.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and the preceding Thursday. We believe in the Biblical teaching that we receive the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine for the forgiveness of our sins (Matthew 26:26-28).
We invite you to receive Holy Communion with us if you:
- Believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
- Recognize that you are receiving Christ’s true Body and Blood with the bread and wine.
- Confess your sins to God and desire to live the new life in Christ made possible by the forgiveness of sins.
Children who have not yet had instruction to receive Holy Communion are invited to come forward with folded hands to receive a blessing.
Grape juice is available in the center ring of the tray of glasses for those who prefer not to consume alcohol. Please ask the Deacon for grape juice if that is your preference.
Gluten-free communion wafers are available. Ask the Pastor or Deacon for a gluten-free wafer when you participate in the Lord’s Supper.
